Hey to all of my readers, this has been an amazing time sharing to you my random thoughts for the year 2010... I never thought in my wildest dreams that I would be ever writing a blog talk less sharing my random thoughts but I just have to thank one very special person who convinced me to start my own blog and that person is... Godfather. Thanks for all of the encouragement and loads of help on starting this blog... I greatly appreciate it from the bottom of my heart. Alright the New Year is about to begin and what a great way into bring in the New Year is get a new Hairstyle, like out with the old and in with the new. I want to leave the OLD Nigerian Princess and come out with a NEW and IMPROVED Nigerian Princess in 2011.... So I have been thinking about which hairstyles would really suit me and that wont break off my natural long hair.. So I am asking my readers to send me some ideas to think about and consider so that on New Years eve, I can get my hair done for the New Year 2011....

I wanted to wish my readers an early Merry Christmas since this year I will be traveling for the Christmas break and wont be able to do it on that exact day so I decided since its 5 days until Christmas, hey! why not, do it today... the worst times that I procrastinate is when I know I have a huge deadline that is coming up and instead of preparing ahead of time I decide to wait the last minute meaning the next day.... oops yeah I know its bad but I cant help it even when I do plan out what I need to do, sometimes I follow through it and sometimes I don't.
For example: This week I have 3 final exams in 3 days.. math trig part final, chem final exam and math trig part 2 final. I already finished trig final part 1 today and now I am studying for chem final exam tomorrow. My plan was to review the final practice exam sheet tonight but nooo that's not what happened, Procrastination has set in and now I am doing major studying and cramming NOW!!!! and it sucks! now I have to get up EARLY tomorrow morning to finish studying for my chem final which is in the afternoon so I have time....
But this is a MAJOR lesson I have learned from all of this..... which is follow through your plans even when you don't feel like doing it, it will help in the long run!
This morning, I was trying to figure out what I wanted to eat for breakfast and then I had the great idea that I should make French Toast for breakfast... So heres the french toast that I made.... I know ur looking at the french toast and wondering why its sooo burnt, well, I may have over cooked it a lil bit but its all good... and your also wondering why its like half eaten, I know, I know, the french toast was sooo good that I couldnt stop eating to to take a picture of it, until NOW! the recipe was quick and easy:
eggs( depending on how much french toast u want to make), sugar (as much sugar as u want) and milk about 1 to 2 cups, thats the recipe I used but if you want a formal recipe to follow just google "French Toast Recipe" and there you can pick which recipe that best suits you...
This song by Keri Hilson "Pretty Girls Rock" is a great for song for young or older gurls that feel that they are not pretty or beautiful or who are just self self conscious about themselves. This song shows them it doesnt mater how you look, act, talk, or walk that you are still beautiful no matter what... So where are my pretty ladies at? So after listening to this song and someone comes up to you and tell you that you're ugly, you can tell them "Dont hate me cause I am Beautiful..." and that you're doing the "Pretty Girl Rock"....
Men in the world today are known as "sports buffs", "sports experts" and "sports lovers", but I have come to realization that there are women today as well that are "sports lovers", "sports buffs" and "sports experts". I have come to notice that women play attention to sports like football, basketball, soccer, baseball, tennis, golf and hockey. Woman today love to follow their favorite sports team and cheer them on to victory. For example, in my house, everyone is a HUGE sports fan, especially basketball and football. My mom is a HUGE Los Angeles Clippers fan and the rest of the family is a HUGE Los Angeles Lakers fans and San Diego Chargers fans as well, we hardly miss their games. We still cheer for other teams as well....
All I want to say to the men is that "Woman and Men can be equal BUT woman are so much better than men...."
I hate having to deal with this Plantar fasciitis on my Right Foot, its beginning to annoy and irritate the heck out of me... I have constant pain everyday, with every step I make or take there is a pain. But worst of all is that I get the most pain when I am trying to sleep which I cant because of the constant pain and soreness I feel and when I wake up in the morning, even trying to get out bed is hard work... gosh! Anyways, today I received a cortisone shot on the side of my Right foot where the fluid and inflammation is... and I have to tell you that I hate shots PERIOD, but I had to strong and take this shot whether I liked it or not... So the doctor told me that this shot last for 6 months and hopefully its the only shot I need to get rid of this Plantar fasciitis. So hopefully, this cortisone shot helps and I can walk a lot more easier.... So for the next 2-3 days, doctor told me I cant skip, run, jump, or dance on my foot.. darn! that sucks... Oh well! Hola Peeps, a day before thanksgiving I wanted to make this really special and different dessert for thanksgiving day dinner. I wanted to make a funnel cake which I know sounds weird to have as a dessert on thanksgiving day dinner but I wanted to do something different besides making the 'normal' desserts like Sweet potato pie, apple pie and pumpkin pie. But I first learned how to make a funnel cake from my former room mate when I was living in LA last year, she made them sometimes in the dorm room and I just watched her do it and so I decided that one day I would try it myself.... But when the time came to make the 'pre' funnel cake before I made the real ones for thanksgiving day dinner, I went online and printed out a very simple recipe that consisted of:
Ingredients:
1 egg
2/3 cup milk
2 Tablespoons sugar
1 1/4 cup flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
So after following the directions and adding the correct amounts of the ingredients this is how my 'supposed' funnel cake came out:
This is NOT how a funnel cake looks like!!!!!!!!!!!! I was soooo unhappy but I know it was just my first time making a funnel cake and this was just a learning process and it was just for practice... After looking at my finished product and the real finished product...
But now that I have learned from my mistakes, I will make another funnel cake sooner or later...
Hola peeps, Im back again! I know you guys have missed me and reading my blogs... I know you have, no need to lie about it.. Well, I just needed to take some time off for some 'ME' time... So I decided just to take a getaway trip or vacation or however you want to call it for a few days so NOW Im back.... and Im better than ever! This was a awesome time to take some 'ME' time cause I really, really, really needed it now that Im back you will be seeing my blogs every few days or so or whenever I get a chance to update it.... Tonight, I was on a skype video call with my one of my closest cousin who lives in New York and he was telling me that he wanted me to listen to his new song and I said sure and when the song started to play, I began to feel touched and wanting to cry because this song really touch me, deep inside my soul and my heart... He told me that he has been playing this song for over 18hrs and I was like wow! so I had to get on to youtube and listen to the song as well, I become so touched and inspired that I needed and wanted to write a blog about this song, so here it is. He was also telling me that he was missing his mom that passed away last year and that this song was helping him to remember all of the 'Sweet Memories' but he didn't say which sweet memories that he was remembering but I told him that this song is helping him to remember all of the 'Sweet Memories' of his mom. So, I just wanted to share this song with my readers and all of those people that lost someone that was very close to them. This song by Yolanda Adams, "This Too Shall Pass" is a very powerful song. Within the song, there are multiple near death experiences that happen but the strong and consistent prayers of the loved ones, their loves ones was completely made whole and healed from whatever they were dealing with, whether it was Cancer, a massive heart attack or a sickly illness.
So any time, you are feeling discouraged, defeated, or unable to live life, just know that "This Too Shall Pass" with prayer and believe that God can make a way out of no way and that God will never give more than you can bear.... written: Mon. Nov. 22@1am.

I have been reading so many books that's its not even funny. Ever since, Summer 2008, I have been keeping track of every book I read from non fiction, fiction, romance, novels, etc. As of right now, I have read 54 books and counting... My favorite authors are Eric Jerome Dickey, Kimberla Lawson Roby, Omar Tyree, Terry Mc Millian, Trisha R. Thomas and E. Lynn Harris.
These are African American authors. I can read 2 or 3 books a week or two, it depends on how long the book is. Reading is just a thing that I can do anytime and whenever I feel like it. There are some books that I can stay up until 12midnight or 1am just so that I can finish the entire book.
I read when I am on the bus and train heading to school, in the car(when im not the driver), on vacation (yes, i said it, i read when im suppose to be on vacation) or whenever I just have some free time from doing homework, projects, etc.
So now that you guys know that about, you can say that im a geek or nerd, BUT oh! well and who cares!! Well, let me get back to reading my book "Tempted by Trouble" by Eric Jerome Dickey..

I have been considering about my major for the longest time. I still haven't made a decision about it tho but as it stands now I am a Child and Adolescent Development major and Pre Med as well... The Child and Adolescent Development major is not a difficult major its just a lot of classes that require reading and taking lecture and lab classes. I have no problem with this major but I have a serious problem with the Pre Med major, I still haven't completed the pre med requirements meaning that's another year of math, biology, physics and chemistry courses, ewwww! But I want to be a Pediatrician but I may have to take a different route into becoming a pediatrician. Well I think that I need to take more time to find other options to fulfill my dreams of becoming pediatrician.
Please if any of my readers have an other options for me to still to become a pediatrician, your suggestions will be very helpful and I will very grateful for them as well....
There are so many times in my life that I feel that I can take on the world all by myself BUT I can't.... I am just a 22year old woman just trying to live my own life AND no one elses..... There are times that I can be Superwoman and there are other times I cant. Sometimes life just comes in like storm to knock you down or off your game BUT its you're choice to get back up again or just to stay down.... As for me, I choose to get back up and then sometimes choose to be a "Superwoman....."

Hola, mambo, hej, hoi, salut, hallo, aloha, shalom, ciào, jambo, E karo and nde ewo these many are different ways to say "Hello" in different countries. You know, I have so many fantasies about traveling to different parts of the world. Paris, France, London, England, Dubai, India, and Nigeria/Ghana Africa are some of the countries that I have fantasies about. Places like Jamaica, Bahamas, Cayman islands, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Cuba, South America (Brazil and Argentina), Antigua and Barbuda. These are some extoic places that I have fantasized to visit one day,places that I can go and lounge out, relax by the sand, take in some fun and maybe even watch the sunset go down.
Hopefully, some of you have traveled to even half of the places that I have mentioned and if you have congrats to you and for people like me that haven't traveled to these places its never too late to live out your travel fantasies until your heart is content. Just follow these few steps in creating and living out your travel fantasies.
1. Create a list of extoic and non extoic places to travel.
2. Create the time and find the expenses.
3. Go out and TRAVEL!!! Live out your travel fantasies.
Why do men over the age of 40 like talk and/or have relations with younger woman? That is past the 'friendship level /stage'. I cant how many times that men over 40 years old who just love to have conversations and/or relations with me. It just scares the heck out me but then I am a little bit flattered that a man over 40 years old wants to have a relations besides on a 'friendship level'... I wish I could get an exclusive inside look into a man over 40 and what causes him to talk to a younger woman and to even thing or even consider having anything to do with her besides on a 'friendship level' Maybe older men over 40 are just sooo Obsessed....
